CANOE & KAYAK MAGAZINE JOINS CALUSA BLUEWAY FEST

The 2011 Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival and Canoe & Kayak magazine have joined forces. The new partnership means C&K will be instrumental in providing demo boats, seminars and evening entertainment throughout the weekend. The festival will also include a kayak fishing tournament, a standup paddling race, skills classes and guided daily tours. They are also bringing back the former “Captiva Classic” race. EAST COAST CANOE & KAYAK FEST – WE’LL BE THERE

If you’re attending the annual East Coast Canoe & Kayak Festival in Charleston, S.C., this weekend, stop by our table. The Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail is pairing up with the Florida Paddling Trails Association and the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. We’ll have goodies and maps to give away. We’re excited to be there with the paddling community and Charleston County Parks & Recreation from April 15-17. Click here for details
